This workshop is a highly interactive, hands-on experience for songwriters looking to seriously improve their lyric writing!
Rather than focusing on rhyme or form, this workshop will address one of the biggest challenges that all song writers face – how to write lyrics with meaning, authenticity and impact – lyrics that intrigue the listener and pull them in.
In short, how to become a songwriter who is proud of their lyrics and happy to share them with the world.
During the 90 mins we will explore:
- Finding unique, interesting and compelling ways of expressing your song ideas
- How to transform ordinary language into memorable phrases
- How some of the greatest songwriters approach lyric writing
- A 2000 year old technique that turns ‘boring’ and generic words intro dramatic and powerful lyrics
